    FACILITY MANAGER OPPORTUNITY

    This is a great opportunity for a mechanical, chemical or electrical engineer with strong managerial intuition and likes the excitement of a start-up.  You will be responsible for managing the operation and maintenance of a facility dedicated to applying chemical additives as it is conveyed into the process.  We are looking for 2 individuals with at least 5 years related experience (power plant preferred) and some demonstrated, effective managerial experience.  One will support a facility near  Marston, MO and  the other near Moberly, MO.  Competitive salary.

    Duties & Responsibilities Include:
    1.    Managing operations and maintenance of the facility, including:
    a.    Hiring, managing and scheduling staffing for 24/7 operations
    b.    Scheduling equipment maintenance to assure 24/7 operation
    c.    Developing and maintaining a spare parts system
    d.    Developing and maintaining production plan to assure adequate inventory of additives
    e.    Assure additive application rates attain performance goals
    2.    Directing safety program to maintain a safe workplace, assure personnel comply with all requirements and support safety meetings with host site personnel as required.
    3.    Assuring compliance with environmental reporting requirements.
    4.    Preparing daily, weekly and monthly operation, maintenance, cost and process performance reports as requested.

    General Competencies:

    1. Experience supervising or managing a process equipment
    2. Experience in managing safety plans
    3. Understanding of analytical chemistry as related to QC laboratories in the chemical manufacturing business
    4. Working knowledge of material handling processes
    5. Effective oral and written communication skills
    6. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
    7. Capable of using statistical techniques for analyzing data
    8. Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation
    9.  Ability to work both independently as well as on teams
